Y Type Strainers

Most cost-effective, the Y strainer uses perforated wire mesh or wedge wire to trap unwanted solids from a process stream. Y strainer can be mounted vertically or horizontally in a piping system strainer is a low-cost solution to large nominal bore straining requirements.

Y strainers are commonly used in pipelines to prevent damage to Gauges, pumps, control valves, Flowmeters, and other process equipment.

Fabricated Y strainers from 2” to 48” (larger sizes are available)

Designed in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. I

Standard design pressures include 150psi, 300psi till 15000 psi (Higher pressure available on request).

Strainers available in CS,CSRL,SS304,SS316,Duplex,Super Duplex.

Hinged covers & Swing bolt opening are available for quick opening.
