Carbon Dioxide Sensors
ACME was the first to adapt instrumentation-style equipment to the building market in the early 1970's. Our equipment is designed to control ventilation systems in buildings, most notably through Carbon dioxide sensors (CO2) in underground parking garages.

To maintain a healthy environment in an enclosed vehicular facility, install carbon dioxide sensors to start the exhaust fans and open fresh air dampers when the CO2 concentration rises to prescribed levels, normally 25 or 35 PPM based on local building codes. By using demand-based ventilation control you can save up to 70% of the energy costs when compared to running the fans full time, especially in hot or cold climates where heating or cooling is an added expense.

The E Series CO detector line can be equipped with one to four output relays for fan control as well as a 4-20 mA signal for proportional control. The carbon dioxide sensors can also be fitted with our RS-485 communication card for connection to our CEL Series control panels. E Series units can have the number of output relays increased and communication features added later via a factory upgrade, so the investment is protected even if needs change over time.
