This CO2 detection system is designed for return air duct sampling, installation in rooftop air handling units or dirty indoor environments where a simple, wall mounted CO2 transmitter will not stand up to the environment and be damaged or contaminated. Acme uses an air pump to draw the sample to the detection unit from the space, where it is filtered and passed to a solid-state infrared CO2 analyzer. Outputs available range from 4-20 mA or 4 contact levels in our single-point unit to zone and multiple fan control in our larger panels. These systems are especially useful in institutional and educational environments where wall-mounted CO2 detectors face vandalism and abuse.
