The Acme TWINSET is a stand-alone dual- gas detector designed for two-point monitoring of various toxic and combustible gases. The two gases monitored can be any one of the following standard combination pair: CO-CO-, CO-NO2, CO-CH4. Other non-standard combination pairs are also available on special order. One of the sensors (channel #1) is an integral part of the controller whereas the other (channel #2) is supplied as a remote part, to be-field connected to the controller by 2 or 3 conductor low-voltage wires. With a covering range of up to 50 ft (15m) radius for most gases, the TWINSET offers a cost-effective solution for gas detection in small enclosed areas. The TWINSET employs high-precision electrochemical and catalytic bead (pellistor) sensors for toxic and flammable gases respectively. The TWINSET is available with up to four (4) SPDT relay outputs programmed to operate at four different detection levels from either gas, LO, HI, AL1 and AL2. These relays can be used for activation of single or multiple-speed fans, dampers and/or remote alarm devices. The TWINSET also has a built-in buzzer that can be set off at any desired level(s). The (4) levels can also be programmed to have different time delays. The electronics is housed in a rugged NEMA 3 PVC enclosure with vandal-proof screws.
